How to find us

From Belfast:

Take the 502a or the 502b Metrobus from either Belfast Waterfront or Lanyon Place Station in Belfast City Centre towards Cultra, Ulster Folk Museum. Disembark at Ulster Folk Museum and from there the 10 minute walk up to the museum is signposted. Please note the walk is uphill, so if you have any accessibility requirements please call us on 02890428428 prior to your arrival to make arrangements.

From outside Belfast:

If you are travelling from outside of Belfast, please refer to Ulster bus and Ulsterbus Goldline timetables to plan your journey.

If you’re travelling to us by train, disembark at Cultra Station. You will come across the Transport Museum first when you arrive, and it’s a 15 minute walk from there to the Folk Museum. From Belfast City Centre, take the A2 towards City Airport/Bangor/Holywood, then keep left onto the Sydenham By-Pass A2. Follow the A2 for 3.7miles until you reach the museum on your left-hand side, just past the Culloden Hotel.

Parking is free and available for all visitors. Overflow parking is available in our lower car park as well.
