Booking & Arrival

Ulster Folk Museum cobbled street

If you’re planning on visiting our museum, we recommend pre-booking to guarantee your admission. Pre-booking also allows us to monitor the numbers of visitors on site to ensure your visit is as safe and enjoyable as possible. All you need to do is select an arrival window and then arrive anytime between those times. Once inside the museum, there is no time limit to your visit. A limited number of walk up tickets will be available daily, but these cannot be guaranteed during busy times.

If you’re planning on exploring Ulster Transport Museum too, you’ll need to purchase a separate ticket here as we are no longer able to offer a dual ticket for Ulster Folk Museum and Ulster Transport Museum. We recommend you give yourself two hours at each museum to get the most out of your visits.

If you are a member, don’t forget to bring along your membership card or photographic ID so we can ensure your free entry and discount in our café and gift shop.

Group bookings of up to 15 people can be made online. Group bookings of 15 people or more will receive a 10% discount. For bookings over 15 people, please email us.

For Education and School group booking enquiries, please fill in our online booking form to submit your request. Due to site capacity restrictions, we cannot accept school bookings without prior arrangement.
